Family
histories can be documented in several ways. Subjects can be interviewed
about their life or a script
can be written and photos can tell their story.
Choose "Real
Media" or "QuickTime" to give you an idea on how to
document a person's life.
This
piece was created by interviewing the subject in her own
home. She used photographs from her life to tell her story.
Then the photos were scanned and prepared for video. A final
DVD was created that merged the video with the photographs.
The
subject of this piece was deceased, so sons and daughters
were interviewed about her life. Photographs were then scanned
and prepared for the video. The interviews were edited and
the photos used to help tell her story.
This
piece was created for an anniversary. A script was written
about the subject's life and photos were used to tell the
story.
